* Much more...!
Making the most of your student income
As an international student it is very important that you come to the UK with a plan in place for how you will pay your tuition fees and living costs before you arrive. Unlike UK students, International students who are here on a Tier 4 Visa are not eligible for statutory student funding (that is statutory financial support from the UK Government).
Know Your Student Funding
Before you arrive in the UK it is important that you check out any Bursaries or Scholarships you may be entitled to. Have a look on Swansea University's webpage here to ensure you are not missing out on any extra support. There may also be some specific support available from external sources. See UKCISA's website for more info here.
If you are receiving any sponsorship for your tuition fees and/ or living costs it is important that you know the terms and conditions of your sponsorship. It is also essential that you bring proof of your sponsorship along with you to enrol at the university. Proof of sponsorship will usually be an official letter, written on headed paper and signed and dated.
